I have a very special niece getting married next month. I won't be able to attend the wedding, but wanted to do something special for the bride and groom. I bought this mat for a frame and decided to try my hand at "doodling." I think I stayed up until about 1am, which isn't unusal for me, as I wanted to finish it. I'm happy with the way it turned out, being it my first attempt at doodling. I think she'll like it and I KNOW she'll appreciate the work that went into it.

Wow that's really pretty, you've done some lovely doodles there. Very "hollydoodle" esque! Have you ever seen Holly's work? She did a frame very similar for a wedding just last week, I think you'd like it :)
That's the first thing that I thought!! WOW, that looks just like something that miss Holly Doodle would do!!
Yes, I know Holly and LOVE her! She was my inspiration for this. I have taken a class from her and am taking another in a couple of weeks. I could NEVER do anything as well as she does, though. She is in a class of her own!
OMG, Nan!!!! You are such a multi-talented gal! I love, love, love the frame and you obviously have the patience of Job to have done all that intricate work by hand!!! I think Holly would be proud of her artistic influence on you that shows in your wedding frame. Maybe we will get to take another of her classes together soon.
Hugs,
Vickie
P.S. I'm soooo glad you are feeling better!!!
